Damon's Visit - Day 3

Not too much to report for day 2 as I work on Fridays. I look after 2 children so Damon came along to help me out. Gabriel loved hanging out with Damon. I am sure he will be disappointed when I turn up next Friday without him. Here are some photos from the day.

Sophie and I were just watching the sand castle building.

Damon did happen to mention that the beach wasn't much of a beach compared to what he has up north! That is true but still a nice place to walk.





Movie time. Damon was able to catch up on some movies he hadn't seen yet. Rio and Smurfs. Not a bad work day!!!





I love the tree lined streets down here. This is typical of most of the streets in Elwood.





Getting on a tram going into the city again.





Here we are at the opening of Southgate shopping area on the Southbank or the Yarra. Waiting for the show to begin........so far half an hour late. Don't they know we are on a tight itinerary?? Smile for the camera Damon.......ok maybe not that cheesy!!

Damon got bored and started climbing....as kids do!

We love the fairy lights in the trees.




And we love the busker playing the saxophone.




Ah nice .....kayakers. Can we do that?





So now we are waiting for either the flame shooter thingys at Crown to go off, or the 9 pm fireworks.

You guessed it .....neither happened. And it is too late to go up the sky deck now too. Oh well......as much as we were disappointed we still had a nice night. He grabbed a slurppe and off we trammed home.
