Damon Arrives - Day 1

Yah.........Damon has arrived and we get to hang out for 5 days.

It was his first flight and it didn't get off to a good start. They boarded and then had to get off as problem with the door!!!! 2 hours later they finally take off only to have turbulence all the way.

Oh well....he still enjoyed the flight especially going into the clouds and then above them.

Here is Damon's story.....

So after checking out Aunty Amanda's new place, having a feed of lasagna and playing with all of Claus's toys we went to catch a tram to the city.

Here we are waiting for the tram.

Here I am at Federation Square.

What's this fake grass stuff??

Lots of sculpture and art work around here. This one is based on a piece of rock that came off one of the 12 Appostles.

Inside Fed Square - this place is awesome.

Sitting down for a bit of a relax in Fed Square listening to a DJ reading a free mag.

Ok time to see some more sculpture

(Aunty Amanda) Ewwww that's gross. Boys will be boys!!!

Flinders station

St Pauls Cathedral

Heading down a lane way and discovered some wall art.

LINDT!!!!! Ok ok let's go in.......

Very fancy in here.....use to be a bank.

Time to hit the shops.......and guess what we stumble upon.....

Yep. All the Christmas windows. They are pretty spectacular though.

Let's go all the way to the top and see what we can see.

Hmmmmm just something being demolished.

Up high

Down low......right on man!!!

All aboard the train to see Santa.

Special message for my sister (hahahaha)

Oh no it's actually a whole store just for my sister - I wonder where my store is though?

Posing - you can do anything in the city cause no one knows me!!

Better get some more money out Aunty Amanda!!

Look at her eyes.....She is having a conniption about how much we are going to spend. (Aunty Amanda says) wouldn't have it any other way!

Chinatown. Aunty Amanda - enough photos already.

Aunty Amanda look how cool the taxis are. Can we can go for a ride in one? No! Just stand there and I will take a photo!! (Damon)Are they called taxis or cabs? (Amanda) I don't know......Taxi Cabs maybe?

(Damon) why are they called Black cabs and not yellow? These city peeps are odd!

What do these people know that we don't?? Can't see the end of the line up so whatever it is we are NOT going to join them.

So after a big day of flying for the first time and wandering Melbourne City time for playing some Wii.........thanks Claus (Aunty Amanda' s flatmate). And with him is Rachael.

Day one done......bring on tomorrow.
